“Let us have a moment of silence” is normally connoted with sad announcements of death. But “let us have a moment of silence”, could also be applied to save someone from death. This piece explores the importance of our own silence. The need to pause, look around and be a shoulder for someone who is struggling to be heard. In a noisy world, we should have moments of silent reflections to hear ourselves.
